What I built
- Responsive property listing and booking experiences.
- Booking calendar and availability synchronization across third-party sources, including Airbnb and Booking.com.
- Stripe deposit and full-payment flows with confirmation and error handling.
- EZ Texting communication workflows for booking updates and operational notifications.
Technical challenges
- Keeping availability and reservation data consistent across connected booking systems.
- Coordinating availability, booking and payment state in one customer journey.
- Supporting guests and property managers across mobile, tablet and desktop.
Engineering decisions
- Separate provider-specific integrations from the customer-facing frontend contract.
- Use Next.js server-rendered pages for availability-sensitive and high-intent content.
- Keep payment and communication integrations isolated from core booking logic.
Performance & scalability
- Used Next.js SSR patterns to support performance, SEO and dynamic content delivery.
- Designed integration boundaries to keep third-party complexity out of the booking UI.
